Medical and legal disclaimer
Effective date: September 19, 2026
Please read this disclaimer carefully before using oklahomacannabisclinic.com or booking an evaluation with Oklahoma Cannabis Clinic ("we," "us").
Not medical advice
The articles, guides, FAQs and other content on this website are for general educational purposes only. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for an individual evaluation by a licensed physician. Reading this website does not create a physician–patient relationship. A physician–patient relationship begins only when you complete a scheduled evaluation with one of our physicians.
Always talk with your own doctor before starting, stopping or changing any treatment, including medical marijuana, and before combining cannabis with prescription medications.
Medical emergencies
We do not provide emergency or urgent care. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
No guarantee of a recommendation or license
Booking an evaluation does not guarantee that you will receive a medical marijuana recommendation. Each physician uses independent medical judgment, and a recommendation is issued only when it is medically appropriate. The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) alone decides whether to issue a patient license.
Not affiliated with OMMA
Oklahoma Cannabis Clinic is a private medical practice. We are not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with OMMA, the Oklahoma State Department of Health or any government agency. We cannot approve, speed up or check the status of state applications.
Not legal advice
Information about Oklahoma and federal law on this website is general information, reviewed for accuracy about the licensing process. It is not legal advice, and laws, rules and fees change. For questions about employment, firearms, housing, travel, professional licenses or criminal matters, consult a licensed Oklahoma attorney.
Federal law
Marijuana remains a controlled substance under federal law. An Oklahoma patient license does not protect you from federal law enforcement and may affect federal employment, firearm eligibility, immigration matters, federally regulated jobs and travel. Never take marijuana across state lines or onto federal property.
Risks of cannabis use
Medical marijuana can cause side effects, including impairment, dizziness, anxiety, increased heart rate, and interactions with other medications. It may be unsafe during pregnancy or breastfeeding and for people with certain heart or mental health conditions. Individual results vary, and research on many conditions is still limited. Do not drive or operate machinery while impaired, and keep cannabis away from children and pets.
Oklahoma residents only
Our services are intended for Oklahoma residents who are 18 or older, or minors evaluated with a parent or legal guardian. Our physicians evaluate patients only where they are licensed to practice.
Accuracy and updates
We review our content regularly and show the date each page was last updated, but we cannot guarantee that every detail is current at all times. Prices listed are our current evaluation fees and may change. State fees are set by OMMA and may change without notice from us.
Third-party links
Links to OMMA, medical boards, research and other outside websites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
