This policy explains how Oklahoma Cannabis Clinic ("we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit oklahomacannabisclinic.com or use our services. Health information you share during care is also protected by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which controls if it conflicts with this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, contact details, date of birth, Oklahoma ID, and the health information you share in your questionnaire and with your physician.
- Payment information: your card details are entered directly into our PCI-compliant payment processor. We receive only limited details, such as card type, last four digits and authorization status. We never store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser type, pages visited, and approximate location, through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To schedule and conduct your evaluation and prepare your physician recommendation
- To place authorization holds, capture payment after approval, release holds, and process refunds
- To send appointment reminders, OMMA application guidance and renewal notices (you can opt out of non-essential messages at any time)
- To meet legal, medical record-keeping and licensing obligations
- To improve our website and services
How we share it
We do not sell or rent your personal or health information, and we do not share it with dispensaries, growers or advertisers. We share information only with service providers that help us operate (such as our telehealth, scheduling and payment platforms) under confidentiality and, where required, HIPAA business associate agreements; with OMMA or other authorities when required by law; and as needed to protect safety or respond to legal process.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to run the site and may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand site traffic. We do not place advertising pixels on booking, intake or payment pages. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may not work.
How we protect it
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and HIPAA-compliant platforms for visits and records. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you of a breach affecting your information as required by law.
How long we keep it
Medical records are retained for the period required by Oklahoma law and professional standards. Payment records are kept as required for accounting and tax purposes. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to or a copy of your medical records, request corrections, ask how your information has been disclosed, and opt out of non-essential communications. Email care@oklahomacannabisclinic.com to make a request. We respond within 30 days.
Children
Our website is intended for adults. Evaluations for minors are arranged only with a parent or legal guardian.
